Travelling to Bratislava Slovakia

Getting to Bratislava is simple for anyone flying into Europe. There are a couple of airport options and many travelers will welcome the ability to choose which offers the cheaper flight. With convenient transportation available, either airport will be a welcome stop during your vacation.

The first option is to fly directly to the Bratislava Airport. This airport is usually serviced by the smaller airlines and can offer discount flights for many destinations. It is also conveniently located five minutes from the major highway that connects Bratislava to Eastern Slovakia.

The other option is to fly into Vienna, Austria. This international airport offers more commercial flights per day and has a higher number of flights overall. To travel from Vienna to Bratislava, a visitor need only take a short bus ride across the border and arrive in the city. The bus system connects several other cities as well. It travels to Bratislava, Vienna, Prague and Budapest.

When staying in Bratislava, one of the first choices of hotels is the Bratislava Hotel.
